Announcement: The first volume of SPIE Reviews began publication in January 2010. SPIE Reviews is a peer-reviewed, open-access, online journal that publishes invited review articles covering the state of the art of emerging and rapidly evolving optics and photonics technologies and their applications. The journal also features links to review articles published in other SPIE journals on the SPIE Digital Library. All articles and supplemental materials in SPIE Reviews are open access and freely available to all. Please visit the SPIE Digital Library to access the journal.
Author Information
Articles for SPIE Reviews are generally invited by the Editorial Board. However, the journal will also consider proposals from prospective authors. Interested authors should contact the Editor before writing and submitting a review paper.
Authors of articles published in SPIE Reviews do not incur page charges or any open-access publishing fees. All articles and supplemental materials are open access and freely available to all.
Authors should read and follow the instructions on how to prepare a manuscript prior to submission.
Authors are also invited to read the material on what constitutes a good review paper.
